Violette Lagouine
Coming from the gloomy shores of Normandy, Violette LaGouine is a Budapest-based singer-songwriter and guitarist. Her aesthetic builds on folk-punk influences, playfully evoking classical techniques with her voice. Dedicated to DIY ethics and lesbian culture, one of her instruments is a self-sculpted 80cm steel nail-clipper, adding a metallic drone to her dark and mellow compositions. Her first album Ta mouche (Your Fly) appeared early 2026.
