Vavra/Sajanová
Eva Sajanová is a musician from Slovakia, she performs as holé baby, her debut EP Tajnosty was released by Infant Tree. Also a composer of film scores and dance performances, her other music projects include a piece commissioned by NEXT Festival for Ensemble of Futurist Noise Intoners and a work for LOM Space’s sound gallery Slúchadlo.
Júlia Vavra is a crossdisciplinary performer, one of the most exciting figures of independent new generation Hungarian choreography. With strong music sensibility and awareness leaning towards folk and dance music deconstructions and reinterpretations, has previously worked with Hungarian experimental musicians Áron Porteleki and The Stanley Maneuver.
Vavra and Sajanová present their new collaborative work at UH Fest.
The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
