Robert Piotrowicz is a Polish composer, sound artist, and improviser whose work spans from solo performances and studio production to collaborations with other artists and instrumental ensembles. His artistic practice is rooted in an in-depth exploration of sound as both a physical and phenomenological phenomenon. Piotrowicz is the co-founder of the Musica Genera festival and record label, both of which played a significant role in the development and presentation of experimental music in Poland. Since 2024, he has served as Artistic Director of the Sanatorium of Sound festival in Sokołowsko. Piotrowicz returns to UH Fest after 14 years.
