| Pita

Pita (Peter Rehberg) was DJing at various locations in viennese underground for almost a decade. Started the use of Pita moniker in early nineties as DJ playing ambient/experimetal sounds in so called chill out rooms. This period of social activity bore the fruits which led to the setting up of the Mego label, and the serious start to recording own music. Activities: Running the Mego label and MDOS mail order, and the irregular Johnny YesNo nights, recording, and still DJing but now being more interested in the sonic possiblities of the CD glitch rather than the vinyl scratch or tape collage.

His sound ranges from furious to minimalistic, but always with the same uncompromising attitude. Apart from his solo work, he also collaborates with choreographers Gisele Vienne (DACM) and Chris Haring, as well as being a member of the MIMEO project.
