Noxagt plays heavy and violent instrumental rock. Their music is powerful and energetic with a massive rythm section and intensely droning viola. The lineup is: Kjetil D Brandsdal: bass / Nils Erga: viola / Jan Christian L Kyvik: drums.

Noxagt’s latest album The Iron Point was released on Load Records, like their critically acclaimed debut album Turning It Down Since 2001 last year. The producer on both albums is Anderson (Fantomas, Melvins).

Their 2004 tour included a stop at BBC studio in London to do a session with the legendary Mr John Peel on June, 17th.

The norwegian motion picture Monstertorsdag (Monster Thursday; directed by Arild Østin Ommundsen and featuring Kim Bodnia, Iben Hejle etc.) will be released in october. The film features two songs from The Iron Point and Noxagt are also appearing as themselves in the movie. Director Ommundsen is formerly best known for directing the norwegian cult movie Mongoland.
