UH Fest presents: 188.8.131.52.5 (Horizontal Ground/Frozen Border, UK) @ Merlin, October 3rd
We've always put emphasis on serving good causes so on the occasion of the coming festival we joined the More techno in the Parliament! movement. We express our sympathy with its goals by the means of delivering the guest artist of the after party. 184.108.40.206.5's musical language is confined to the most essential elements of techno. It avoids superfluous ornaments and just about anything that is unnecessary to bulid up space and dynamics. Techno in its austerest form in the service of one definite concept: purity and functionality. link
A 4-track tape recorder will be ready for you and 10 minutes of your performance between 2pm - 4 pm (every day) at Merlin’s rehersal room.
There will be a microphone and a line input option. You will be unaware of the people who played before, or will be playing after you. One day after the recording, a recorded cassette would be put on sale as a limited edition.
